Painting with the Colour Wheel

Try this hands on approach to the colour wheel.  Mixing paint together will allow participants to deepen their understanding or colour theory.  Mix a tertiary hue, add water to lighten the value and then stir up a shade.  Add the complement and create a rich intensity of your favourite colour.  When all these colour concoctions are painted on 100% cotton the happy result is a colour wheel of fabrics for your next project.

Needle Felting with Embellishment

Rug Hooking


Enjoy an old craft with our wonderful new wools. Varying the width of the strip and using one easy stitch makes it possible to hook any design. We will use ¼” strips hooked through burlap. Rotary Cutting Basics

Master Quilter Classes

Thanksgiving (16 Months)

Get creative with beautiful batiks, fusible and straight stitch machine appliqué to make this 1" x 61" tribute to a fruitful harvest.  The result will be an appliqué masterpiece that you will be proud to display.  There will be a 3 hour assembly class in June 2009.
